Sign in and pick a scanning door

Before taking your post at the door, you need to sign in to the Scanner app on the Portal and pick the right event and the door you have been assigned. This is step 3 in the check-in journey — it happens at the door, on the day of the event.

Go to portal.qrs.com.vn on the browser of an issued phone or tablet. The Scanner is a web app, so there is nothing to install — you only need a modern browser with a network connection.

You have two ways to sign in:

  • Staff credentials — enter the email and password issued by the organizer. Use this when you are a regular door-staff member.
  • Sign-in QR code — the organizer issues a single-use QR code; you scan it to sign in quickly on a shared device without typing a password.

If your login session expires (for example when the device changes or an admin revokes your access), the Scanner returns you to the sign-in screen. Sign in again to continue.

The system checks your sign-in session every 30 seconds. If the same door-staff account is used to sign in on another device, the session on your device is taken over immediately. The Scanner then shows a notice (with a yellow warning icon) telling you the session has been signed in elsewhere, and you must sign in again to continue.

After signing in, you will see the list of events you have been assigned to. Pick:

  1. Event — the event happening today.
  2. Door — the exact door you are staffing (for example: Gate A, VIP Zone, Artist Entrance).

Only events and doors you have been assigned appear in the list. If you do not see the door you need to scan, contact the organizer to be granted access.

Once you start a scanning shift, the Scanner header always shows the key facts so you can keep track of the situation at the door:

Field Meaning
Event name The event you are staffing.
Door name The door you are scanning.
Online check-in count The number of guests successfully checked in and synced to the system.
Pending count The number of scans cached on the device because the network dropped, waiting to sync.

If the event has kiosk mode enabled, guests scan themselves without staff. When you (as staff) turn on kiosk mode, check two settings:

  • Idle timeout — how long without activity before the Scanner returns to the idle screen and resets the guest session.
  • Input source — choose camera (scan the QR with the camera) or keyboard (guests type the ticket number by hand, useful when the camera is weak or the printed code is too small).

The top-right corner of the Scanner has two small buttons so you can tune the display to the conditions at the door:

  • Light/dark theme button (sun/moon icon) — tap to choose Light, Dark, or match the device. At an outdoor door at night, dark mode is easier on the eyes; in daylight or a bright lobby, light mode is easier to read.
  • Language button (flag icon) — tap to choose Tiếng Việt or English.

When the header shows the correct event, the correct door, and the counts update in real time, you are ready to receive guests.
